On the 21st day in the 5th month of the year 2024, Bee’s, one of Squirrels most trusted Generals formed a devious plot to throw the Gnome Kingdom of Ak’Anon into chaos.

Unbeknownst to her fellow Squirrels, Bee’s had sent General Lolnewb to Spy on King Ak’Anon and his kingdom. Unfortunately for them King Ak’Anon see’s all and was not fooled by Lolnewb’s illusions. King Ak’Anon mustered his clockwork soldiers and captured the conniving enchanter. When Bee’s did not hear from her comrade, she assumed the worst and placed a call to arms for all the Squirrels of War to assemble in Steamfont.

Gomer Pyle, the mischievous rogue and annoying child Squirrels never asked for and is honestly not sure how she ended up responsible for, saw the Call to Arms from General Bee’s and realized this as his one true chance…. Gomer reluctantly meets the war party at the mouth of the great kingdom of Ak’Anon. Feeding the Ogre’s and Trolls gnome cookies and malted milkshakes supplied by sous chef Rylex, keeping their feeble minds distracted from the thought of pillaging Ak’Anon and devouring its people.

As the Squirrels of War raiding party prepares to breach the Kingdom of Ak’Anon a young gnome named Nasbik runs into the gathering. Asking them what they were up to. The Squirrels distracted him with a shower of buffs, shiny things and a lifetime contract to join the Squirrels of War. Away he ran with his newly acquired might to slay the troublesome Kabolds that roam throughout Steamfont.

Bee’s addressed the gaggle of Squirrels to let them know this would not be an easy fight but was confident they would triumph. They charged through the entrance of Ak’Anon prepared for battle. Yet one stayed just behind the charge…. Gomer. He stopped at the entrance and informed the clockwork guards that their King was in danger and this began his plan. Off he went to join the rest of the group while the guards acknowledged Gomer’s devotion to his people.
Gomer pushed ahead into the labyrinth of King Ak’Anons home finding Rylex the monk crouched in the tight quarters of the gnome headquarters. He was wearing a very loud pair of yellow pants apparently wanting to look his best for this conquest. Down Gomer continued to find King Ak’Anon unaware of the intruders in his realm. Rylex used his greatest of insults to pull the King from his stronghold. Alas the King could stand no more of the monks drunken slurs and charged out of his fortress! Rylex ran for his life fearing the Kings devastating magic and headed for the exit of Ak’Anon. The King had fallen for the Squirrels plot and ran right into the throng waiting for him just inside the city walls. Brongo the mighty Dwarf Paladin no longer clad in his Pink armor but dawning the finest armor in all of Norrath engaged the King. The King fought and cast every one of his most powerful spells yet it wasn’t enough. Squirrels of War came prepared and overwhelmed the King. The fight did not last long but it was a glorious sight to witness. Every spell known to Norrath was flying across the halls and eventually the King succumbed to the might of the Squirrels and as his gears slowed he informed them “My comrades will avenge my death!” And the King was dead.

A city guard walked past the battle field and informed the Squirrels “click… tick… city violation. Code 5150. This unit is authorized to execute punishment. Please stand still. Thank you.” Just as the clockwork was about to engage the Squirrels, Gomer used his birthright Tinkering skills and reprogrammed the Clockwork. Thus beginning Squirrels master plan. Gomer now will insert a puppet regime to the Kingdom of Ak’Anon building a replica of King Ak’Anon who will do the bidding of leader Squirrels. Securing this city is the beginning of the Squirrels of War complete takeover of the world of Norrath. News spreads quickly to all the leaders of the remaining city’s and kingdoms. They’ve been put on notice and they’re preparing for the inevitable invasion of Squirrels to their boarders.
